Takeaway resource
Thanks to additional funding from HRSA, we had the opportunity to develop a takeaway resource as part of the continuing education activities for Peer Recovery Supporters in rural Ohio.

I joined Weitzman Institute and familiarized myself with the project as it was ramping up, gathering essential background information.

During the Brainstorm phase, we brainstormed potential deliverables, considering options like infographic posters, a microcourse with badges, and a video playlist.

After gathering feedback, we merged the best ideas into a Microcourse featuring infographic posters and digital badges. A review team, including faculty, OhioMHAS partners, and internal members, was assembled to guide development.

We met bi-weekly with the review team to build the course outline, refining the tone and approach of each lesson. We used a instructional map to plan out content, poster, and challenge task for each lesson.

Feedback was continuously collected through both asynchronous and synchronous methods, allowing for iterative improvements.

We finalized and launched the SCORM package in WeP as a self-paced lesson, meeting the grant deadline. Completion of the course automatically grants 1.5 participation credits.
