My Accessibility Journey

Hi! I'm Lucy Wolski.

Instructional Designer with eight years of experience and a Master's degree in Education Technology. My elevator pitch is that I make courses that don't suck!

Before I was an Instructional Designer, I was a first-generation college student. I saw the learning environment through a judgemental lens… this could be better. Why isn’t this better? This experience sparked my passion for instructional design, as I recognized the urgent need for more inclusive and accessible learning experiences.

Years later, when my son received a Developmental Coordination Disorder diagnosis, the work I had been doing became deeply personal. I witnessed firsthand how barriers to learning can knock some down, while accessibility for all lifts everyone up.

Through innovative approaches and a relentless pursuit of inclusive excellence, I have dedicated my career to breaking down the barriers that have long plagued traditional educational settings. By constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible, I strive to ensure that every learner, regardless of their unique needs, can access and engage with the knowledge and skills that will shape their future.
